Cardboard Citizens Charity Art Auction raises funds for work with the homeless

In April 2018 Art World A-listers including Tracey Emin, Martin Creed, Anish Kapoor, Gavin Turk and Sir Anthony Gormley took part in ART on the Mind, an exhibition in aid of Cardboard Citizens, a charity specialising in using the arts to help people with experience of homelessness.  The art was kindly donated by the artists for an online auction with Paddle 8, and a one-day exhibition and preview at 10 Hanover Gallery.  Patrons of the charity include Kate Winslet, David Morrisey and Rory Kinnear.  It was founded 26 years ago as a theatrical project in Cardboard City, a 200-strong rough sleepers' encampment in Waterloo, London, and now works across London and the UK to support some of the 300,000 + homeless across the country.

Thank you to Sunday Telegraph, Art Daily, GQ and Getty Images for supporting the charity exhibition.  Here are some photographs of the private view which was attended by VIPs including Martin Creed, Daniel Lismore, Pandemonia, Meredith Ostrom, Stuart Watts and Sarah Beeney:  https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/event/art-on-the-mind-exhibition-in-aid-of-cardboard-citizens-private-view-775157619#/meredith-ostrom-and-pandemonia-attend-a-private-view-of-art-on-the-a-picture-id951190298
